Dr.
Alec Platt has been in the
private practice of medicine since 2008.
He is Board Certified in Internal
Medicine,
Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep
Medicine.
Dr.
Platt
was raised in Mt. Kisco, NY. He received his undergraduate
degree from the University of
Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA. He later received his
medical degree at New York University
School of Medicine, New York, NY, where
he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha
honor Society. He completed an
Internship and Residency in Internal
Medicine with subspecialty training in
pulmonary disease, critical care, and
sleep medicine at the Hospital of the
University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Platt
also obtained a Master of Science in
Clinical Epidemiology from the Hospital
of the University of Pennsylvania,
during which time he was awarded the
Bradley Award in
Evaluative Research for work
on adherence to
medical therapy for cardiovascular
disease, and also the
Clinical Translational Research Poster
award
for
studies on
adherence to therapy for Obstructive
Sleep Apnea. Dr. Platt's research has
been published in peer-reviewed
journals.

to know that pulmonary medicine can
provide ways for patients to breath
comfortably."
