Dr.
James N. Kim has been in the
private practice of medicine since 2006.
He is Board Certified in Internal
Medicine,
Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep
Medicine.
Dr.
Kim
was raised in
Brooklyn, NY, and
graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic
Institute, School of Science, Troy, NY,
with a Bachelor of
Science in Biology. He then received a
Master of Science in Biotechnology from
Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD.
He received his degree as Doctor in
Medicine with Distinction in Research
from the State University of New York at
Stony Brook, School of Medicine, Stony
Brook, NY. He completed his Internship
in Internal Medicine and Residency in
Internal Medicine at Emory University,
School of Medicine, Atlanta, GA where he
was awarded the Excellent Teaching
Resident Award. He then completed a
Fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical
Care at University of California at San
Francisco, School of Medicine, San
Francisco, CA, and also completed a
Research Fellowship there at the
Cardiovascular Research Institute.
